Thread: Instead of Certs...
If people are bothered by the quick leveling up with Uber Creatures and droids, why not just remove the benifits of having them? Why should the player get any Xp or bonus from using basically a battering ram to kill its enemies? What skill are they using? The maker of the item they use should get all the xp.
They should just think about what is happening in game and then go watch or read Star wars.Make the larger creatures into an Entertainer class, like Jabba's Rancor with dueling matches, then things would get a bit more into the SW feel. If the droids at the spaceport can do more interesting stuff, why can't ours?
A better question:
Why are we even discussing this? The devs will do whatever they please, regardless of what we think. 99% of DEs screamed that permadeath for droids was a bad idea... the devs just put it in anyway and didn't take it out for weeks.
