Thread: Med Droid Questions
1. What's the fastest droid which can keep up with players who are running/etc. My R2 just isn't cutting it out in the fields. How's the surgical one handle itself, or the R5Advanced?
2. What's the highest level med (6?) and can anybody make them?
3. Which personality chips are available (I like to have fun w/the game)?
4. Which droid has the most slots (thinking about med, food/chem craft, personality chip, and item storage... possibly data if one can fit 5 things)
5. How much would it be to get the MAXIMUM possible droid because I'm actively powering to doctor because I'm going the non-combat medic combat medic rout (TKA/Doctor) and I need to have one which has the features listed above?
If at all possible, I'd like to stay away from the Protocol Droids because they don't fit in with the whole happy healing thing... Thanks guys!
Man that's a lot of questions...
Here is the answer in no particular order...
All bots move slow...I think the probot is probably the fastest...something to do with the floating aspect not sure...and the dz70 but wouldn't be caught with one of those in a life time...anyways lvl 6 is the highest that you can make and it can only be made by Master Droid Engineers.
The Advanced model of the R3 can hold the most modules...6 if I am not mistaken....can only be made by masters ofcourse...
The personality chips are
Geeky, Sarcastic, Stupid, Slang, Worshipful, Prissy, *think thats all*
The price of an advanced r3 with the maximum and best modules in it is not a cheap investment, it has 2 armor modules and 6 module harnesses (crafting etc) so yeah...better start saving up.
Hope this helped...
1. What's the fastest droid which can keep up with players who are running/etc. My R2 just isn't cutting it out in the fields. How's the surgical one handle itself, or the R5Advanced?
A. Though I seriously doubt it, but I would think the experimentation used on the droid's motive system 'should' affect it's speed. I haven't noticed any speed difference in any droids myself. They all seem to get 'stuck' and stop when following you equally well.
2. What's the highest level med (6?) and can anybody make them?
A. Level 6 is the highest and it gives a Medical Capability Rating of 95. Oh yeah... just so you know, the level of a medical module has absolutely NO effect on anything right now. A level 1 med module is essenitally identical to a level 6. This is 'supposed' to be fixed at some point... I'm not holding my breath.
3. Which personality chips are available (I like to have fun w/the game)?
A. Default, Slang, Stupid, Sarcastic, Worshipful, Prissy and Geeky. However, don't expect your droid to say more than 1 message per day.
4. Which droid has the most slots (thinking about med, food/chem craft, personality chip, and item storage... possibly data if one can fit 5 things)
A. An Advanced R3 can hold the most with 6 slots (2 clusters which hold 3 modules each). However, as with so many aspects of our profession) there is another 'bug' (some would say exploit) which allows you to use a cluster in any module slot. Thus allowing you to actually 'embed' clusters within other clusters. This then allows you to place all modules within a single cluster and then use that in a regular MSE Mouse. Trust me.. it works... I've done it. So, except for appearance sake, functionality-wise, anything beyond a mouse right now is a waste of credits and/or resources. Oh yeah... in case you didn't know, Item and Data storage are also both currently bugged and non-functional.
5. How much would it be to get the MAXIMUM possible droid because I'm actively powering to doctor because I'm going the non-combat medic combat medic rout (TKA/Doctor) and I need to have one which has the features listed above?
A. Very 'vague' question there. If by MAXIMUM you just mean a droid with a Med, Food/Chem, Med, Item Storage, and Data Storage... as I described above, you should be able to get any droid you want with all of those modules. Cheapest route would of course be a Mouse and should run you around 10k for all that.
Hello all,
I am new to the Medical Field and want to get a med droid. Can someone please tell me what modules are ideal to get in one, and if the chasis matters they are in? I will be going to Master Doc also, and want to buy one that will last awhile.
Thanx all for the info in advance!
only difference between chassis is the look, and how many features you can get
for med, get one with a 110 med rating and a F&C crafting station.
I got a MSE droid with 110 and food and crafting station for 7k, and thought I was getting a bit ripped off...little did I know how cheap that was!
So I named him BlackBag and he's a better bargain that I deserve considering my grumbling. I like MSE droids! I want another one! now if I could just have two out at once so one could fix the other one.
