Thread: Sintrosi, TH's questions put us back to square 1. We need your help.

Thunderheart posted a series of questions late last night on page 9 of his thread. The nature of these questions indicate to me he has not seen any of your previous "top 5 issues" reports. A LOT of debate and voting went on to make those reports, and now it seems we have to go through that all over again.

It's clear to me there's no way we can reach a consensus within the confines of TH's thread.

Sintrosi, please take the reins here and establish some kind of organization to getting TH's questions answered, whether it be by creating new voting threads or directing him to your previous communications.

Unfortunately, Sintrosi is taking a much-deserved vacation. We will have to see if we can get somewhere with Thunderheart. The back-and-forth repetitive question-asking without giving any answers is very annoying though.

I dont understand why they work from our sticky about the Droid Issues?

Theres all Info concentrated. TH just has to make a hardcopy go to the devs, make a meeting, make notes to each point and lets us know whats going on with each point. And then we rework the list etc etc.

Why this chaos with Questions which were already been answered?

Im sick of this: "Why do you feel about this so" or "How should it be made better"

The list is dont and up. Please read it DEVs!

Odo, it's just another way to blow us off. They won't read those posts because then they'd actually have to do something.

its typical of this Dev team spin ,excuse talk anything but forward movement on the real fixes I mean over 85% of thexse issues were posted dozens if not hundreds of times in beta and since release but back to square one .No wonder everyone I know has either droped DE and most the game or are so feed up wiht SOE excuses they are about to

just last week 10 that I know that were hard core on this game left for a "break" as usually most that take a break do not return

this is my seocnd account and expires NOV 11 it will NOT be renewed my first account expires nov 26 and so far I split 50% if I will even brother

I am tried of the endless months of questions and ZERO in game results.

God, you guys are pathetic. I fully realize how broken the DE profession is and I fully know how neglected you feel. That is no excuse to jump down TH's throat, nor is it an excuse to concoct persecution theories.

TH has said he has worked with Sintrosi and I assume has read your "issues" posts. He is now gathering as much information as possible FROM AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE before going to the devs. He wants to take a variety of ideas to the devs. This is a good thing!

Be patient and let the best info get to the devs!

TalkingHead: What do you folks want?

DE's: Bug fixes, substantive improvements, bug fixes, droids that function properly, combat droids, a market for droids that isn't a dead end, bug fixes, and for the Dev's to read the many comprehensive and coherent threads made on the state of the DE profession which already exist in the DE forums.

TalkingHead: (ponders) Okay... that sounds fair. How about I make a post asking what you like or don't like about our vague, nebulous "plan"?

DE's: (pause) Er... is this before or after the bugs that have been resident and documented since Beta have been fixed?

TalkingHead: What's that now?

DE's: (furrowed eyebrows) The Bugs... B U G S....

TalkingHead: Yeah, we're going to fix those... Creature Handlers can call only one level 90 pet now.

DE's: What the heck are you talking about? Back to droids, we're droid engineers, focus man!

TalkingHead: (munching on granola, muffled) Sorry man, go on....

DE's: Exploding mouse droids and fancy blaster modules in our 45 HAM DZ70's don't address the fact that Power droids run out of power and that LE Repair droids can't repair anything. Why are we wasting precious time and effort dreaming up crap that isn't in the game yet when the stuff that is already in the game is broken beyond belief?

TalkingHead: I hear ya.... I've been working all morning on your situation.

DE's: And what did you find?

TalkingHead: (proudly) We have come to the conclusion that we can't make any effort to get anything accomplished until Sintrosi comes back from vacation. Also, we need to post a couple more threads asking some very general questions and I'll probably throw a poll up in the general forums, just so it looks all "official" like.

DE's: (aghast) So, all your work amounts to is a couple questions and some snooty posts?

TalkingHead: (proudly) Oh heck no... we're getting some fantastic results with our new Creature Handler skill box proposal. That's a lot of work I did there! You should show some appreciation....

DE's: (eyes glazing over) . . .

TalkingHead: Hey, and remember to respond to my post.... Simply posting to threadswill make you feel like you accomplished something useful. That's how we view it here at SOE. And if you don't respond, well, you really weren't very serious about getting your profession fixed now, were you?

DE's: (veins bursting on the forehead) I've sent in more /bug reports that I can remember. I've helped catalogue bug reports and have helped update, correct, clarify, and confirm them since long before release. I've made countless proposals in the DE forums for fixes, additions, and corrections. We've proposed dozens of new and exciting droid modules and pointed out constructive, comprehensive changes or fixes to the modules already existing in the game. We've had posts and threads commented on by practically every other profession in the game expressing sympathy and concern with the state of droids in the game. We've discussed the need to eliminate the socket module exploit, the endless seeker droid exploit, the insane battery consumption problem, and tons of other issues which would make R2-D2 blow a gasket. And all we're getting for all this effort and work is a token post and a "we're working on it"?

TalkingHead: (smiles) We gotta start somewhere!

TH, being a DEV why dont you become a DE for the weekend. Then you will understand where we are coming from. One stipulation... youmust grind out the 300+ mouse droids before you can be a master. I am sure a number of us would take time to walk you through the profession this weekend.

I'm guessing you mean the bug fixes? Or am I wrong?
