Thread: pure noobie question what does is socket cluster for?

I know, I know I shouldn't be asking this question but what is a socket cluster do? I've only just got MDE and have yet to learn about the little things. Please help me DE's your my only hope.

first off, its totally fine to ask such here.

ok some droids can be configured with single modules and some can also or hold a socket cluster.
a cluster is just like a module but the difference is that u can put 3 modules into 1 cluster, in other words a droid which can hold 1 cluster equals like 1 which can hold 3 single modules. thats it
just be aware that clusters are sometimes bugged. i still dont understand why the devs inplemented clusters at al instead just giving droids jusr # of single slots for single modules hehe, but well for that ask a dev.

It helps you to cluster your sockets....or socket your clusters....not sure which.
The GSM module allows you to put up to 3 other 'standard' droid modules into single multi-module item.
That item can be inserted into higher level droids to add more/better functionality.
