Not a DE, but thought I'd share this. Just went back to Jabba's to reset and play again and discovered the "reset" is a LOM series protocol droid with the name "8-LOM". For those few who dont know what a LOM is, watch ESB again. The only droid with the Bounty Hunters is one, grey protocol droid with an insectoid head. Think a 3PO unit alla Naked Lunch. Anywho...

They did a Fantastic job on rendering this one, and I simply had to hit the boards and say: WHEN? When will I get to own one???

Go to Jabba's and see for yourself. This needs to be a questable chassis schematic! Bravo to the DEVs for the fantastic result. Now gimme!

There is also a "Bug Eye" droid at the Imperial Retreat. Looks like the body of a Protocol with an odd bug-eyed head. There are other droids in the game - I just wish more of them were craftable.

Well the DEV's said something (I cant remember where) about Protocal Droids using weapons, I wonder if that is the model we will be able to build?

The LOM is very well rendered... and be sure to check out EV-9D9 in the basement of Jabba's place, torturing various droids, it's terrific and horrific at the same time.

Is this the protocol droids form the Death Star, aka- "Death Star Droid" form the SW action figures? I would love one of those too... now I'm torn, though itsnot like we'll get them any time soon. If it is the "Death Star Droid", I love the description in the Essential Guide to Droids... if your a DE and havent picked this book up yet, please do- some fun stuff there to beg the DEVs for.
