Which utility droids are the DE community most in favor of? I might have missed a post or two about this, but I was thinking it could be pretty easy for the devs to modify BH probe droids for the surveying community. Send one of those babiesoff to another planet, and have it report back with the highest concentrations of the minerals currently popped on that planet. They could even make it more expensive, like needing two probe droids, plus one or two extra components, and a few more resources. I think that would be a really handy, hot selling droid item. I also would like to see repair droids, that I could send out to do rounds on all of my generators, harvesters, factories, etc. Make a lvl 6 data storage bin a requirement, and then slot the waypoints of the facilities in there, so the droid can go out there and check things out. Are there any plans to make repair droids that can fix vehicles and actually work for the LE repair droid as well? Please let me know what other ideas are percolating out there. I honestly would not be too upset if we didn't get uber combat droids, if we got functioning, well thought out utility droids. I know that people on the thread regarding smuggler/DE reconciliation had some good ideas (was it Sketh?) for nice smuggler type modules. DE could be a really sweet profession, even without combat droids.

Actually an awesome idea. I wouldn't even mind seeing just a listing of current minerals on the planet you send the droid. Talk about a time saver.

Eh, it will make droids useful though. It'll never happen.
