In the advanced version of the droid the 2 Combat Clusters are optional, we can put 3 modules in each cluster that is how it translates into 6 modules.
I am pretty sure that the normal/base model asks for one cluster.

Keep in mind that the detonation rating/damage formula was changed a few publishes ago. Right now the theoretical formula is like around 35-37 times the Detonation Rating of the droid with about a 30% reduction in PvP. Before, it did massively more damage (like 150-200 times the Rating), but that was compensating for the pre-CU HAM of targets and Doc buffs, not to mention the PvP reduction was 75%.
A level 60 Bomb Droid will now do about 2000 Damage. That isn't enough to kill somebody alone, but it will hurt them bad. Attack at the same time and getting that last 1000 is easy.
Ireallylike them when a Jedi decides to go AFK while cloaked in front of me. 2 Droids per incap. ![]()

Yeah get your det mods to 9 each. Then fill up both combat socket clusters with them for a total of 6 and throw em in your R3 adv. The hidden decimal's will get it up to 57 det power.
