Do you receive a confirmation email to confirm that you've signed up, or do you only get an email if you've been picked? I never got an email so far and the site kind of says I should've gotten a registration confirmation?

Yes. You should get an e-mail when you register for the beta. It might have gotten filtered as spam though.

You should get an email upon registering. Like GnomeAd said, it may have been filtered by spam (or your email sony has may be wrong/old/different). You need to get that figured out or else you won't get a beta invite email.

You can sign up with all your accounts if you want. It may up your chances.
