Hey there, have somewhat of a technical question here for all of you MDE's

FIrst off: Is the harvester droid still nerfed?

What is THE best harvesting droid that can be made on your server, and using that droid at what point would you want to start using it if you were slowly dropping scout harvest skills due to FS?

And yes we use veghash.

Just trying to figure a rule of thumb I can tell my hunter-guildies

Well clearly the best would be the R3 Advanced with 6 harvest modules.

However, what I usually do is harvest without the droid and then with the droid. Then stick with the one that is more beneficial, either time/speed wise or quantity wise. Would depend on each hunt.

Heya, ok so on your server what is the average price for one of these guys? and stats that you get?

Harvest Droids can come up with a rating all the way to 120 which is maxed. Pretty much anything over 115 should be able to be made on all servers and that's a pretty good number to look for.

If you are a Scout and don't group with the droid, you should get about 10-15% more Harvest.

The downside to Harvest Droids right now is if you group with another player then Harvest yourself, you actually get more then using a Droid.

Sheesh they should fix that . you gusy got screwed on that deal seeing as it's close to impossible to solo a lair the way you could pre-cu

By saying R3 Advanced is the best I meant because it is the only droid that allows 6 modules to be added and thus have the highest harvest bonus compared to other droids using the same module.

As to grouping and soloing with the droid. If the droid is also combat you could use him to help you defeat a lair. Of course this is based on my Level 61 hunter doing Level 65 Lairs with a Level 24 or lower pet and a Level 30 droid. I have to do the critters 1 at a time and heal myself regularly so may not be a totally good idea .. *waves hand* .. okay .. forget I just said all that. My examples is based on a Rifleman/Doctor/CH combo character.

Thx for your concern. We have been trying to get this fixed for a long time.

Unfortunatly this happens a lot, they fix something else for people or another profession, yet break droids in some ways.
