I just made a couple of droids: Adv. Probots and Adv. R3s having both pre- and post-cu combat and repair modules.
NO droid shows ANY combat rating
So NO options for teaching attack commando (or protect).
Not even the built in Attack options for (adv) Probots is listed.
/bugged it in game

Under the current system, you wont see a Combat Rating listed. Once you "call" the droid though, you should be able to set an attack option. The default should be "attack" I believe.

That is the bug. It's not there. Not under commands (neither on Adv. Probot with it's inherit attack function), nor with an AdvR3 with combat module.

First a Probot doesn't have an inherent Combat function anymore, that may be part of the problem. You need to add a combat module.
The commands also don't list in your datapad until you program one of them. Try using the program option.

Droids willnot show thier stats when using /examine on the actual called droid. If you want to see the stats: /details on the droid in your datapad.
I do not think this is a bug, pretty sure it is there to keep other players from knowing the exact stats of others' droids. Do you really want anyone to be able to know the stats of your droid? How about your gun? Some folks might not care, but I for one would rather have a degree of privacy.

Actually, you're right. It's cosmetic and probably low priority, but it's a bug. There should be some indication that the droid is combat-capable when you craft in a combat module. Right now the consumer is going on the word of the droid engineer. It's not a game breaker and at least there is a workaround (filling in the seller's description).
