Thread: HOW DO I NAME MY DROID?

I have a MEdical probot with trapping harvesting and combat... how do i name him i have no clue where to start, what to type, and for how many times, or for how long. Can someone explain to me how to do it, or refer me to a link that does... thanks

You name a droid the same way you name a pet. You use the name as the first word in four different programmed commands.
Here are the steps
1) target the droid and bring up the radial dial
2) Select Program from the radial menu
3) highlight a command you want to train from the training window
4) click on train,
5) in spacial type in the command ie (Sparky store) were "Sparky" is the name you would like your droid to have.
6) repeat 1 through 5 three more times with different commands.
Hope this helps. And the names of the droid can't contain numbers and must follow the same rules as character names.

The rules being this:
1) 25 characters or less
2) No spaces
3) No numbers
4) Name is case-sensitive
5) SOE name filter applies
If the name doesn't take after four commands, the name is more than likely rejected. Try a simple name first to make sure you're doing to right, like "Bob".

Bob is not a simple name! I have a Bob and a BobII! They are good names! Great name for a droid! 
Pfft... Bob a simple name.

is there something wrong with the name killer? b/c i trained my droid like this with about 9 commands and still doesn't recognize it as killer.

That's probably a good conclusion. There is no Master List of names that don't work (at least not that we have access to). You try the name, and if it doesn't work, you assume it can't be used.
