Good Monday morning DE's,

Boy am I ever exhausted. I sit here at work in the state of being sick but just under the border line of making it reasonable to leave work. This is gonna be one sucky day. Runny nose on the keyboard and the such. Doesn't portray a pretty picture. Anyways thought I would share some fun stuff for ya on a Monday morning.

Now to the what I want to really share with you all. I am a Master DE as most of you all are as well. I had an order of a Harvestor Droid +107 recently and I messaged my customer to make sure everything was running smoothly with their droid. (I try to contact my customers to make sure their orders are running the way they had hoped). Anyways, I get this reply of "The droid can't harvest". not the exact words but basically they told me there wasn't a "Harvest" function in the command list.I of course don't like to have unhappy customers so I offered a refund right away. They accepted and I went to them and got the droid and gave them their money back. They then told me that this was their second harvestor droid that didn't have the harvestor function. I took a look at my droid in my data pad (the one that I made) and I saw that it had the "harvest" function in the command list. So I told them about it and they were confused because they couldn't see it. They then gave me their old one that didn't work either and I noticed that it had a +104 bonus BUT didn't have a "harvest" function in the command list. So I gave them my droid back and they seemed to see the command line for "harvest" and then rebought the droid. I kept their old one to look over and boy I tell you, it sure was quite interesting having a harvestor droid that had a +104 harvestor bonus but had no "harvest" function in the command line. The droid is now in the better place and I am happy to have a clean record of working droids.

maybe im missing something but do you have novice scout or the buyer.

only reason i ask is ive made quite a few harvest droids had a whole run on them for while and never had report of one not working , but have had people buy then not be able to use them and when i ask dont have novice scout, same with entertainer droids people buy them say it dont work then you check and they dont have musican or dancer.

i have come across when a droid would not Harvest untilit had called 3 time and use a shuttle.

From what i rember he called ittwice in theed and it did not work he then took the shuttle to our town to meat me where he called it again and it worked fine. I do not know if it was the suttle use of the fact he called 3 time that sovled the problem. I hope this might help you. (it worth a try any way )

strange bug, must be something to do with zoning the fact it fixed after using shuttle. i kinow they good when they work dont have scout at moment but my harv droid with novice scout was doing better than my mate with hunitng 4 ( or what ever line it is) when harvesting

This droid was not mine so I don't know how the DE made the droid. Maybe they did something weird to it when making it. /shrug

All that I can or could (because it is destroyed) see was that the droid had a +104 harvest bonus (or +105..can't remember the original post) and had all the same functions of my battle droids other than the attack function of course. What the droid was missing was the "harvest" function. So when you seleted to teach it a command there wasn't a function "harvest" to choose from.

I know you don't need to be able to see that function while you are in the data pad because I had my droid that I sold the client and my droid had the "harvest" function ability and the other was missing it. It is at the bottom of the list.

Anyways, hopes this clears up some questions and perhaps the little droid justneeded to go to on a couple of space flights.

Ok I'm not sure exactly what the customer did or didn't do, but I "think" I know the problem.

You said the "harvest ability" didn't show on the list in the Data Pad, believe it or not, this is NORMAL at first.

Just like some of the combat commands they wont always show on the command list until the Droids Harvesting function is setup.

You need to go on the droids Radial menu, set a Harvest command (more then 1 letter is ussually best,) pick something to Harvest, THEN it should show up on the command list.

The droid you had on you, probably had already been setup, his wasn't.

Or possibly, the customer didn't see the radial menu options, because he did not have Scout.
