These are components made by a Master Artisan.

Your going to need alot of them.

They, by themselves, have no function. However, they are a sub-component for MANY of the DE items you will create. Many many.

Be prepared to run 1000's of these in factories once your DE business has gotten off the ground (and even 100's if you're just doing personal/friend building). Some things require that you use ones from a factory crate only, so a factory is imperative.

They are created by a Master Artisan. If you're not a MA, I'd advise becoming one or making very close friends with one.

you will use 1000's and 1000's of these i have one factory that is making these about 70% of the time.

Eh, I've found its really not a big deal to get 2-3 schematics from a master artisan whenever I need to start a run. Usually takes me about 2 minutes of searching in Coronet to find one willing to make me a schematic for 5k or so. Almost as easy as having the skills myself but I don't need to use up the skillpoints.

I cannot stess enough on how much I hate these things. DEs need them and the previous two poster were right make 1000s of them.

I wish mem mods and GP mods were novice DE items. I can wish right?

I've mastered Artisan for the third and last time now, just to have access to the master artisan schematics. However I think I could have saved my myself some hassle and APP points by thinking ahead. Read on, and let me know if this would work for you.

Note: This plan assumes three things: You are already a master artisan, you have a droid with a Level 6 datapad, and youhave access to large quanities of the materials needed for EMM's, EGP's, etc

Create a 1000 unit schematic for the componet you want (eg: Electronic Memory Module) Split off the required resources to complete the 1000 unit schematic, and place them in a backpack. Repeat this for more EMM's, and for the other modules. Just remember to place the resources off to the side, either in a backpack labeled "Do not touch!" or in a factory dedicated to such modules. Make perhaps 10 of each EMM/EGP schematic, or as many as you have resources available. Completed schematics go into your droid, not your personal datapad.

My naming convention for schematics might be different from yours, but I use <itemname> - <rating> - <serialnumber>. For items where the rating doesnt count, such as EGP's, I drop the <rating> from the name.An Electronic GP module might look like:

Electronic GP Module - (eyu4ifo3)

When it comes to the Microsensor suite, which requires contControl Unitsand EGP's as sub components, you probably should add "Microsensor Suite 1" when naming the schematics. (You wont know the serial number of the MSS, hence the "1".

Electronic GP Module - Microsensor Suite 1 -(eyu4ifo3)

Control Unit- Microsensor Suite 1 -(23Kifj3p)

You'll need to run both schematic through a factory to createsubcomponents for your Microsensor Suite 1schematic.

I guess the short verions of this is: You are a master artisan, you create enough schematics to last you a week/month/year. Reserve enough resources for all the schematics and hide them so they aren't accidently used, lost or sold. Store the schematics in your droid to save space on your datapad. If you create 3 months worth of schematics, then you can drop master artisan, use the skill points elsewhere, and remaster after 3 months. You could extend this time if, when you run into another master artisan, ask him for a handful of schematics to refill your supply.

That does work for some people, though it depends on your rate of sales... I've seen DE's that would go through those 10 schematics in about a month.

I've done that at the peak of my vendor operations on Gorath. I remember one week that every two days I was running schematics of 1k of both memory modules. Unfortunatly, I don't operate there anymore except for friends wanting special requests since I spend most of my time on TestCenter now.

Heh, my powersupply is failing on me and I can't log into the game without my computer restarting, so I'm trolling the forums for lack of anything better to do before my next class starts.

Kassuf,

Great idea and it does work. I did it myself for a bit. Had a storage module in the same droids as the data module, just to keep the resources all together. It did last me a little while, and is definitly feasible.

As soon as I got my points back though, I picked MA back up, it's just well....... easier
