I have to admit i'm fairly new, but i've read a few of your guides and what not and do respect your input greatly. What are your thoughts on making non battle droids decay a tad faster for example, everytime you pull it out it will decay .5 or something to that extent. I'm sure this has been brought up. This would greatly help DE's economic viability in the economy.

Thank you for your kind words Taranog. I just do what I can, to help out our little community.
A Decay tick that was tied to calling your droid would be a little toinvasive a system. Lets compare the idea to that of the decay system with vehicles. How many times have you pulled/stored your vehicle more then once on accident? If droids were based on a tick timer, that was based on calling the droid, they would have the potentional of decaying to swiftly.
When ever I go hunting, with my Master Swordsmen / 4040 Scout, I tend to travel to a new destination, and call out my harvesting droid. I tend to do this on an average of 4 times per hour. At that rate, the decay ticks would add up rather quickly.
A droid decay system needs to be set up in such a way that it effects all types of droids, but isn't extremely invasive. The best solution that I have seen so far would be to tie a decay system to battery usage. It is one of the few universals for droid usage, and could be adjusted in such a way that all droids would deacay at about the same useage rate, though some droids would last longer due to non-useage. The provided links go into much better detail on the pros and cons of such a system.

Thx for posting mine Drashk, this thread here is really my main proposal, much more in detail, and more of a Hybrid of our 2 ideas.
