Thread: Anyone going to change their Bomb-Droid prices after this latest patch?

I was reading up on the Bounty Hunter payout changes, and was curious if anyone was contemplating a price raise? I have noticed that my R-3 Jedi-Nukes are moving at a brisker pace as of late. The only thing that was keeping me from charging what I felt bomb-droids should be priced at, was the fact that BH's only got like a 15k payout for their missions. Now that they have the potential to make over 10 times that, shouldn't we move our prices to reflect the rariaty of the resources and time involved in the manufacturing of these things? Makes sense to me /shrug. I'm not talking about price gouging, but just a more balanced pricing scheme.

I prolly will not, but I charge between 49k and 55k each anyway. My Tolium is too valuable for anything less.

My 39 power bomb droids go for 10k each, my 57 power R3's already go for 80-85k. They moved before this last change, and are even moving quicker now. I wont change my prices. The Tolium I am using is crazy expensive, but I'm covering costs and making a decent profit.

I have always sold them for what I value them at.
MSE Det-38 crates of 10 for 45K
R3 Det 56 single droid for 75K

I have been selling more this last week since.
R3 with a 52 power for 38k
mse with 2 modules in for 6k each or 60k for a crate of 10.
i will not be changing my prices.

Um, I have a question related to Bomb droids. I have some of that Tolium gas with 999 oq I heard it's the best gas for bomb droids. How much should I sell the gas for? Thanks in advance.

that depends on your server zedzanders as DE and CM use this gas. if its been a while since the sporn you might get between 5cpu to 15cpu but it all depends on how common the gas is on you server.

I wish I could sell them. I have bombs on two different vendor on two different plantes and I sell maybe one a week.

Well, that explains why I've had a whole lot more orders for bomb droids lately. Guess I'm ganna have to get a factory run going.

I have charged $10K for MSE's at 39 power, and $60K for R3's at 58 power. I am going to raise my prices to at least $12K and $75K. This is a steal, as this powerful of a blastwill almost always incapp even a buffed Jedi, and with missions paying $200K plus or minus... well, you do the math.
In either case, I can not make them fast enough to keep them stocked. This has turned into the first real opportunity for MDE's to be a profitable profession. We keep asking for droid deterioration.... it's hard to deteriorate faster than blowing the thing up!

I made my last run of MSEs pink. I plan to make a selling point of the possible humiliation that can be heaped on a jedi for dying at the hands of a pink MSE.

I will say though that my R3's are selling faster than they used too.
Next run of R3 boomers I plan on painting them the same coloras the Helper Droids
