Hey guys and gals, finally did master droid engineer on one of my characters....would like some pointers from those who know the profession well.
Need to know things like...which parts does experimentation and resource quality make a difference and which ones can I just cook in the factory with grind materials....
What are the most useful droid setups...meaning what should I mass produce for vendor sales...
What type of pricing methods are used on droids...you go by resources? demand....or some made up pricing that has been set in place by crafters....some guidance please so I dont over or under charge.
Any help from fellow players on this who know this profession would be greatly appreciated.

Before I say this, you need to know I HATE to read directions. Hate it. Hate it! Now.... that having been said - I cannot begin to say how helpful the sticky threads at the top of this board are. Any other advice pales in comparison. Read, my man.... read like your toon's life depends on it.

I see his Droid Engineering 101 linky there... for some reason sig's are changeable fonts... reduce your IE font size, and you'll see it

Hey Jenden,
Hold down your CTRL button and scrolling with your Mouse wheel. Doing this should resize your display on Sigs. I had the same problem not to long ago, on a friends computer.

Just think of it this way....at least the forums aren't as complicated as the droids that we make.

argh... should a forum system really be this complicated?

oh I don't know... make it complicated enough that not as many of the trolls can figure it out and we may be on to something!

If that was to happen, do you know how many times a day we would have to explain to people how to use the forums? Its already bad enough that a largepercentageof fourm goers haven't figured out how to use the Advanced Search features, or the Stickies </cough>.

Wait! Don't go yet!
While you read through that animal of a sticky (excellent sticky and required reading, just alot of info to digest)...
Start your factories on EMM's, EGP's, Control Units, and Droid Brains..... you'll be needing them, and you'll be thankful for the time saved starting that asap. Run 1000's of them. You won't ever regret it.
