Thread: Anyone else getting this asked? especially on shadowfire...

Some guy(s) have asked me and another Droid eng. about making a 115 harvest droid WITH storage. I know there is no way to make this... Max with 5 mods would be 100 correct???
They don't seem to understand basic math.
UGH... Thanks again How do you deal with this? I'm trying to be as polite as possible.

I get stuff like this all the time... but usually it goes...
"I want a combat MSE with 6 modules!" or
"I want Protocol with All crafting stations and storage" and the ever popular
"i want a storage droid that will hold 50 items!" oh and one i havent heard in a couple publishes..
"can you make me a droideka?" "What new droid frames do you have"
my first response is always... "No... Because..."
then sometimes you get "but my friend is a DE and he says he can make em"
some people just dont get it... so you have to be patient with them... even the ones that constantly bug you with "is it finished yet? how about now? what do you mean it takes time to craft something..."
but just be polite... and help them understand... they may turn out to be your best customer

I may not be a DE, but the "Is it finished? How about now?" sounds familiar. I'ma Bio-Engineer, and we need to go out and get out "components". The problem is, people expect custom work done on the spot, never mind that you don't carry everything you own with you ... or that you may need to make or get more.

when i was DE i had one guy who must have asked me about 10 times for a 120 med droid and each time i told him i couldnt make one, and each time he said no i know they can be made your not good enough.

I'm ALWAYS polite... I started getting the droideka question again... Almost said "ya... but it looks like a r3 with all combat... You want it?"
I was just trying to explain in simple math that it's impossible to make a 115 harvest droid with storage... He told me he has one on another server... It's just impossible. But ahh the live of a crafter.
Can't wait till JtL and all the question then. Can you say AFK? LOL thanks everybody!

I've had people ask me for 600 rated harvest droids before.

Ahem... you forgot the soon-to-be ever popular:
"How much to add a[insert JTL Mod here] to my old droid? What do you mean you can't do that?"
and
"You ripped me off. The droid you sold me the day before JTL went live won't work in my TIE fighter."

oh man, does anybody knows the newes question?
"hey the droid you sold me will be broken after 200 calls!!!"
but sometimes this is good for buisiness... a customer was buying 5 Creature harvest droids from my vendor, thinking he can use one droid for 200 times only.....
