Thread: So.... New Correspondent?

As much as I'm tempted to just kinda forget about needing to get a new correspondent and see how long we can drag TK with us, I don't think he would appreciate that too much (and would probably end up being bad for everyone involved). So I figured I'd get the hunt for a new new correspondent going by expressing my own interest in the position. I truly do love this profession and would like to do whatever I can to see it flourish. While I may have been on the opposite sides of various arguments with quite a few of you, I hope those that have been around for a while realize that I am honest and would represent the majority of the profession, whether I agreed with them or not.
Ok, I'll stop here before turning this in to a big long speech that no one wants to read....
So post in support, post in opposition, I've got no clue what the time frame here is just figured I'd get things moving.

Personally, I'd say "don't worry about it until Tiggs posts the position open"

Jenden has my vote. The best DE I have ever meet and a huge Star Wars fan 2.
I have a MDE on another server and Jenden has tought me alot through his droids post on our server.

Beeing able to present her a list of people or maybe the one we can point at and say "We want" wont hurt us as well 
But before supporting a candidate i would want to wait who else is up to the task. Maybe put up a sticky for 2-3 weeks where everyone can post his/her application and vote then?

I certainly agree with nominating Jenden. His work on the two droid patches alone is more than justification.

I agree with Atan. Infact, I've started a post that will hopefully get stickied as a strict nomination thread (no voting, just nominations).

I believe Jenden would be a good candidate for the position. He/she (can't assume you're a guy) is upfront and willing to give the position a shot, and is obviously dedicated to the profession.
