I used Lubricating Oil with 958OQ(3152 .4to hit and .76as)and got a better damage and HAM probot compared to making one with decent 700average stat Fiberplast. I thought they changed stuff at one point to regard the item without the stats as a max of what it has supplies(meaning Lubrication Oil can only apply a max of 33%) but instead it gave a 95.8%rating(roughly forget the exact experimented line) If this is how it is intended to work, It'll be easier just to use some Lubricating Oil instead of another chemical, as this only has one stat that matters.

For the final deed of all droids it is actually only the OQ that matters (the rest that are listed aren't right). So anything with high OQ is good. As far as how it works when an object does require stats that you're resources don't have, I believe it works like this. If the object requires other resources that do have that stat it just gets its numbers from the other resources and ignores the one without it. If no other resources have that stat I *believe* that stat is ignored (and the rest of the stat requirements have more weight).

Jenden,
Have you noticed this also. Since the last couple patches when the little green bars appeared in the crafting tool, they seem to indicate that UT is the deciding stat. I originally thought this was wrong but in several tests with two different fiberplasts that have almost inverse OQ/UT i have noticed the higher UT does in fact yeild higher HAMS. Am i just crazy or did something change.

I've been using polymer with 970 OQ, not sure what the UT is on it, and its been comming out at 97% experimentation... I'll check on this though.

The little green bars lie...
The final build uses OQ for effectiveness, but uses other stats for quality and durability. Since effectiveness is the only experimental value that does anything, OQ is all you need for the final build. My combat droids make use of 996OQ chemicals and come out at 99% every time, even though the little green bars are short and red during assembly.

I am using also Lubrificating Oil with OQ 999 i think and it worksfine. Looks a little bit weird to make the chassis with oil, but ....
