Thread: A couple of Stim pack droid questions...macro and delivery

I recently bought an R3 stim pack droid. I have loaded him up and he works fine. Is there a way to put him in a loop to heal me or a macro. I find the only way to get him to work is to target him and /requeststim or radial. can i "tell" him to heal me? and put that in loop. I don't think you can name an R3....so how do you "tell" him.

And secondly the stimpack delivery is 30, i'm guessing that's time delay. What is good. does anyone know how fast you can get it, and how much each point is worth of delay?

You can use the /requeststim command with the droid targeted and it will heal you. The delivery rating is actually an inverse function, I know drashk made a list of all the times (its in his guide to DE 101 post) and a rating of 30 is about 1 second delay I think (which is about as good as you can get).

you can name your droid for targeting purposes... simply program 4 commands with the name starting the command (i.e. RThree S, RThree A)

the old macro i used was simply

/target RThree

/requeststim

/pause 10

/macro requeststim

granted i havent used a stim droid in ages... Stim As dont do you much good when your getting hit for 1k a second...

if I were you I would make a macro like this...

/target (droid);

/requeststim;

/cycletarget Last;

That way if you are fighting some thing, you will cycle your target back to what you are killing.

Yea Zed nailed it pretty much, except you wantto add a pause in there. It will cycle to the droid, then back to your target. Unless you just want it as a button command, then what he said will work fine.

Wait wait wait !!!

Don't tell me you don't know how this droid works !!! Your macros don't use correctly the command.

As you said, you need to target the droid with /requestStimpack. But you loose your target. As MachineZed said, you can /cycletarget Last but it is annoying in some cases. The best command is /requestStimpack

If you didn't rename the droid /requestStimpack an; should work properly.

If you did, you need to put the ( ).

My droid is called Lulu and here is my macro :

macro stim :

/requestStimpack (Lulu);

/tellpet Lulu follow;

/pause 1;

/macro stim;

The /tellpet follow is very useful too, as the droid tends to fly away when it is attacked. It will always stay in range.

I often use thisdroid, evenin pvp where my enemies are often surprised. A doctor friend produces large quantity of stimpack A power 97 and fills the droid for me. So my droid heals me for nearly 100 health and 100 action per second. I've even seen the droid incapacited but still healing me (bug ?).

When did they change it so that the request command could have the Droids name after it? It didn't used to be like that.

Its not from the beginning, I remember testing that specifically on TC... must have been fairly recent.

doesn't need med rating, just stimpack delivery.
