Think I always made food/chem crafting tools in practice mode of course, got about 60-70ish? (can't remember exactly) xp off them. may be easier ways, but it worked ok for me.

For some perverse reason I made Bone Armor chestplates, not the easiest, not the fastest, but a good chunk of exp.

i usually use the gas survey device its 27 steel and gives decent exp it also helps that since it can all be built with steel you dont have to move spots for differeny minerals.

Bone Armor chestplates from Eng IV to do novice droid engineer, aswell as to master artisan and novice architech. Requires lots of bone and hide but as a (former) scout it was easy.

I made mineral survey devices...

At the time when i did them, they gave the most xp per resource used and you could get by with just using metal.

Although, bone armor gives more xp, i just wasn't up to the task of killing stuff all day. Took to much time IMHO

Hey, LordOfTheNorth, just how far north is north? I bet i got you beat.

Hi I was wonder what is the best items to produce to get my general crafting up so I can train my Novice Droid Engineer. Right now I am a Engineer IV and I am produceing weapon upgrades to rasie my general crafting. This however is only takeing me up 20 points an item. This is becomeing expensive fast and I was wondering if there is a faster/better way to rasie my general crafting. Thanks

I made bone armor chestplates all the way for my novice droid and weaponsmith. I had friends who were going for CH, Scouts, and Master Marksmen so they donated all their bone and hide to me. For the fiberplast pannels that were needed you'll need to either grab domestic cooking 1 or purchase them from a tailor. If you purchase, I suggested getting them in crates cause you'll need a lot.

It is much longer to take this route, and longer meaning the amount of clicks and organizing all the materials so that only those that you need show up in the schematic, not longer time to get the XP cause at 440XP a pop, you'll be there faster than crafting survey tools. If your lucky, maybe someone is looking for a complete set of the armor too and you can make a little something for you sweat and tears.

If your on Intrepid, look me up, I can hook you up with some cool guys.

Bone armour seems to give the most xp per item (I think someone worked it out at 7 fulll suits from Eng IV to one of the Elites), the problem is that each piece requires loads of resource and sub components and as such I dont know if its the best xp-per-resource item.

I haven't tested this thourougly, but i think that most every item in the game gives you the same xp.

Its based of the resources used. So far I've tested a half-dozen basic item (ones that dont require sub-components) and I get about 147% XP off each.

100 resources = about 147xp

I'm grinding frames now, so I'm positive of it... 220 resources, 462 practice XP. Thats 47.619% XP

So if this hold true, the rule of thumb would be simple: Make whatever item has the highest resources count, but is the easiest to assemble (fewer types of resources needed).

The Frame wins so far, 2 simple resources, both easy to find, only 2 dbl-clicks to load, and you're off.

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

I had Master Artisan before I started on Droid Engineer, so this may not work for everyone. I ended up crafting (grinding) simple undershirts. They don't require a fiberplast panel like the other clothing does. With 45 resources for each, they give about 100 XP. They worked well for me.
