Man, i miss using a droid in combat. I am not a CH but just purchased a cowardly gurreck to help me out on missions from time to time. I liked it alot better though when i was using a probot. Just made more sence in the SW world for me to be hunting with a combat droid at my side rather then a kitty cat lol. Have thought about buying another probot but at the cost of around 20k due to resources needed it's just not worth it. Especialy when i can have a non CH pet that has more ham, and does not perma death. I know since the nerf you guys had to have had a dent in your pocket books. Most stuff i hunt now are baz nitches and god knows a probot can handle about 4 hits from one and thats about it lol. Then it's 20k down the crapper lol. I still find it funny that out of pets the ones they chose to make permadeath were droids. A creature can live forever but a droid can never be repaired after getting incapped ? Hehe oh well, god willing you guys will get something new soon and will give ppl a reason to buy combat models once again. Good luck.

Well they will be removing perma-death from droids soon, so that shouldn't be a problem.

But that is pretty lame when it costs 20k for an 800HAM, 100 damage creature when you can get much better than that for practically free.

One thing I let my customers know is that my probots have Medium armor and 40% resists! (dual level 4 armor). That alone I think warrants the 20-25k price. These probots can take a huge beating now that they have fixed armor. I am still amazed by how much abuse my probot can shurg off.

True, they do permadeath currently. But, I'm willing to work with a customer who bought one of mine and lost it (frequent customer discount of sorts).

Remember, a Probot is a support combat droid. It doesn't have high attack due to that. However, due to the armor, it can tank very well for a while. Hopefully true combat droids will be introduced later (and I fully expect that is what is going to happen).
