Ran into a strange issue with droid deeds last night.
Customerboughtone of my R3 ADV Crafting droids from my vendor and about 5 minutes later I get a tell from him saying he can't ready the droid from the deed and that he has too many pets of this type even though he has no droids or CH pets either called orin his datapad at all. Iask him to meet me back at the shop and I'll see if I canready it myself and then try to transfer it to him.He does, I trade him back his 75k for the deedand the droid generates first try with no issues for me. I try to transferit to him and I get the same message "This player has too many of this type of pet in their datapad."
I wound up crafting another identical droid while he was waiting and traded it with him to see if it was either a problem w/ the specific deed orbecause he bought it off of my vendor, but he wound up having the same issue. He even logged out for 5 minutes then back in but to no avail. Needless to say, I refunded his money and asked him to stop back some time after a server resetso we could try again.
Anyone seen this issue before? Any suggestionson how to work around this if it happens again? It seems to me that the customer's datapad was bugged, anyone think a server reset would fix that so that he could generate a droid from a deed, or would he be better off trying to get help from a CSR?

Was his datapad full? You might have him try deleting some of his waypoints.

That's what I had thought initially but he said he had plenty of room in his datapad and deleted a couple of waypoints prior to logging out and back in.
Oh well, chalk another one up in the unexplained, irreplicable error column....

It sounds like he had a pet, or maybe mount called. He may have had like a Veractyl called and not realized it. It's silly, but you get that datapad message when you already have a pet out.
