Howdy,

Old player but new DE here with a question about the crafting modules. I'm trying to make a friend a droid that is equiped for crafting chems/food.

I want the droids crafting rating to be as high as possible (110 i think?) and am curious about what factors into this. Is it the module itself and its Mechanical Quality Rating?

As a 12pt DE crafter, on this module, im getting a maxed Experimental Efficiency of 79% (all 8 boxes) and 49% of the Experimental Durability. This results in a Mechanism Quality of 9 (out of 15 max?). Is this module going to make it to a rating of 110? Am i looking in the wrong place to get the best crafting module possible?

Any answers would be appreciated!

After reading DE 101 section 5a, it looks like that category 3 modules only need to be experimented up past a 0 Mechanism Quality to be effective. That makes it sound like experimentation doesnt really effect the crafting rating, is this correct?

Yep. For the most of DE's stuff, experimentation doesn't matter.

I sked the same question a fe days ago, see http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=droid_engineer&message.id=114894

Droid crafting modules have a neutralrating (0) but they do count as private crafting stations.

The durability bar is irrelevant no matter what you craft in DE, its a dinosaur they've never bothered to fix.

The 110 rating (max)is onlyavailable in medical modules, other mods like item & data storage will read maximum12 but have a "real" rating of 10.

As far as the food/chem mod you're making, you couldexperiment one mod 79% and another to10% and they would both function in exactly the same way. All Droid crafting station mods are rated Zero.
