I know that all droids in the R-series are able to be "spacesuited". I know how to build the droids. I know how to build the Data Module that makes the Droid Astromech, but HOW do i put the Data module INSIDE the driod?
and plz, be very specific in your explination.
Thanx for a great forum!

Think this is all in the DE 101 guide stickied at the top but...
Step 1: Pick R series chassis you want to make an astromech from
Step 2: Create all necessary subcomponents, combine modules desired into Combat Cluster if R2, R3, or R2 ADV chassis (or clusters for R3 ADV). One of the modules needs to be Level X Data Storage Module in order to make the droid an astromech. Beware that stacking lower lvl data modules will cause the droid to require higher lvl pilot certs for use.
Step 3: Combine subcomponents
Step4: Profit !

you might have to put the datamodule in a combat cabablesocket cluster if you are using the R3
EDIT: its the r3 that uses clusters, not the r2 as i wrote earlier

All R2's and R3's (ADV or Basic) use Combat Capable Socket Clusters....
