Thread: Droid goes insane

I've seen this basic behavior a couple of times. The most recent was with a combat droid I purchased. I had it attack a creature that was about 15m away. It killed the creature, and then it bolted off in that same direction, over a hill. It took me a while to track it down as it had a very good head start

It had happened once before with a seeker I had made just to mess around. I activated it from my datapad, and it immediately started moving away from me.

Does this happen often? Is it somehow related to the quality of the droid, a bug, or just some dev messing with us droid owners?

I tired giving my droid a shower when this happened once. I think he short-circuited because he starting spinning in circles saying "Johnny-5 is ALIVE!"

But really, I think it is a bug.

I usually interpret this kind of droid behaviour a sure sign that the little guy needs a memory wipe....

That is an AI bug with pets currently. They just wander off if you don't tell them to Follow you once in a while. I hope Publish 21 addressed that.

was thinking more in the lines of you shower once in a while, if a droid is repulsed by your stench it must be bad
