When Sin stepped down.. there was one post I recall.. one stating something about filling Sin's shoes..
since that day, I realized posting on the DE forums ( thank you TH ) is a waste of time.. so I stopped
DrashK.. IMHO you are not qualified for the "role" you have taken.. I dont like seeing you argue with anyone..
Your role is a intermeadiary between the DE comunity and the Devs ( if such a relationship is remotely possible ) Personally I find it offensive that you are petty enough to ARGUE any point no matter HOW you feel about it.
Too many times the Support of your OWN ideas seems to get the best of you. I have gone through many posts where you disagree with something.. its not that you disagree, its how you do so that bothers me.
Just remember your primary role .. trust me.. is read everything people post.. keep your oppinions to yourself, and represent the comunity as a whole reguardless if you agree with it or not.. from the tones your posts make, I do not feel this the case in the slightest, I have zero faith that anything "we" as the comunity is reaching the devs ( agian if thats even possible ) untainted by your oppinion.
Now DrashK its time for you to step up to the plate.. drop your arguments, listen to the masses ..OR one star me.. and then your journey will be complete.
everytime I see your name the D and the K somehow get displaced , and my feelings on your ability are displayed clearly DK rash.
*Everything here is MY oppinion and not subject to missinterpitation by the masses , in the unlikely event the masses have failed a grade school level of understanding , they will most likely follow suit with a flame.
I bothered to post this ,33% due to the stupidity the DE profession is taking.. 33% due to DrashK supporting some stupid extention of DE to use a Droid, and the last 34% is to see how many people accually read this, understand this, and post to it .

I disagree.
As long as his posts to the devs state the community opinion and not his own, it is all good.
Consider this - if he is going to post his own opinions on the corrospondant boards, he is going to do it anyway.
All of the corrorspondant nominees were opinionated. The most visible posters usually are.
No, I'd rather see Drashk be involved in the disucssions here as long as he is doing his job of reporting the community opinion.
BTW - you should go look at the otehr corrorspondants. They don't keep their opinions to themselves.

Oh, and also - even if I did agree with you, a change in corrorspondant would be used to push any fixes back yet another month or three...

I disagree too. I think Drash is doing a good work.
He has the same rights you and me have to post their own opinions, as long as he keeps in mind what the majority of us want, and I think he is doing pretty well.

Other than for starting new threads whats the point of a correspondent?
No really? majority opose a Devidea, Correspondent gives up with his tail between his legs, Devs implement what they want, not what the community wants.
I really had high hopes for the future of DE until a few weeks ago. Wonder how many DE's will give up after this handler / commander (a broom shoved up your backside is still a broom, doesnt matter what its called) comes in.

I disagree.
I think Drashk has been doing an excellent job. We all know hes fighting for us thanks to Gnome's leaked posts.
I just wish he wouldn't sticky his own ideas over some of the other more popular ideas.

From what i've seen on this board, and i admit that this has not been for too long, Drashk is doing a good job. Yes, time and again he is stating his opinion on things, and for my part, i grant him this. When he became a correspondant he did not stop being a Droid Engineer. He can be against everything the community wants, AS LONG as he states our points and not his to the DEVs (or rather TH only). And from what could be seen more then once, he DID represent us, even when he was opposed to the things he had to say.
Finally, you have to consider information he may have that he is not entitled to disclosure, whenever he dismisses some proposal as 'unrealistic' or 'infeasible'.
Well, all this here is MY opinion, but i fail to see why other people have to agree to it or shut up. I will not call you stupid just because i don't like your point of view. After all, this is a discussion board, posting here will make your opinion subject to discussion and you can do nothing much against it.

Not only do I disagree, I want you to apologize for being an inconsiderate **edit**! You are slamming a guy for going above and beyond his duties by adding his opinion and suggestions here to help us get focused on an issue and move in a direction. You are slamming someone that has put horrendous hours on the test center trying to solve misconceptions about experimentation, quality of rescourcesand probot statistics for new patches and then he shares this info freely for the benefit of the community! You are slamming a guy that took over the coresspondent position read through all the posts on this board and consolidated everything into one thread and came up with the 5 biggest priority fixes so that the devs could get this rolling.
Why would you not want his opinion?! He is definately the most knowledgeable DE in the game!
I would have to say that you are 33% Rain Man, 33% Misinformed and 34% a sorry waste of skin!

I have to agree with him to a point. Every time I see our correspondent post about the new changes, he says that HE feels the same as the devs about the certs being an non-functional choise and that HE agrees with the Devs that they should implement a DH profession. It seems to me that yes, he voices the words of the community yet still fights for his own opinions. And in being a correspondent for the DE's, the Devs will listen to him 95% more then reading all the thousands of posts made by us. He is supposed to be representing OUR views, not stating them and then fighting for what HE thinks the changes should be. I have seen too many posts recently with him fighting some of US over the DH position and saying HE thinks it's a better choice.
Just my 2 cents.

I just read that post and what a crock of gurreck poo. He should NOT be chosing questions based on what HE thinks will get answers, he is supposed to be the voice of US! That post just shows you that he is running the shots, for the most part, and not us.
