I am very concerned about this as Medical Droid probably make up 80% of my sales. I get a lot of requests for 2-1B Surgical Droidswith Full Med Cap and Food and Chemical Crafting station installed. I have never had an issue before last night. Well I sold one (actually gave it away cause that fella was having such a pis-poor evening) and promptly afterwards received a tell from him that it wasn't working. I went down the list of Do's and Dont's with him. Check. Check. Check. Okay still didn't work. This concerned me greatly. Out of curiosity I made him an R2 with the same Modules and whaddayaknow, it worked!
Is anyone having an issue with combining this Chassis with the Modules?
On a sidenote, is anyone else having a hard time getting /consent to customize a droid?
On a further sidenote, that's right keep quitting the profession. I make more money that way. (jk)

Regarding getting consent to customize. A player can only have, I think, 5 players in a consent list. If the person trying to give you consent hadn't /unconsented someone else on their list (if it was maxed) that might have been the problem.

I've sold a LOT of 110% medical + Food/Chem crafting 21B droids... I churn 'em out by the crate, and they sell steadily. I admit I haven't logged into the game for a couple or three days now (I just don't have the desire it seems) but up until then I had not received complaint one about failing crafting stations. I just hope that they have not introduced some new problem recently...

I haven't noticed anything but I'll keep my eyes open. As far as the consent deal, I've had to have people /unconsent me first, then /consent me, but that always clears it up.

Just for clarification... what didnt work? The crafting station, the medical module or both?

IT was the Medical Modules. It was two lvl 4 Med Modules. That being said, the R2 was given 2 level 3's.

Get them to log out and wait until server reset. Should work if it's charged.
Unless the medical rating just disappeared from the droid. (ie: you can't see it say 110 medical anymore)

May be a silly question, but did the user try a battery?
Yes I have had my own crafting stations stop working after pulling out a droid. If I give it a battery the craftingstation will work again. Droids only state they have low power right now if you give it a command like follow. If you just pull the droid out but juststand there to craft, this is where it is a problem because the droid wont inform you it is low on power. I think this should fix your problem.

I appreciate that, but it was Brand New Droid. He tamed it himself. Would a bug cause it to NEED a battery?

SOE has done a bang up job making battery power usage so bizarrely out of whack, yes... you may need to feed a droid a battery fresh out of the deed.
Try that, if it works great, and be sure to ask for longer battery life.....
If it doesn't work, not so great... just another bug to heap onto the steaming pile...

You never know when it need a battery. The whole programming part eats alot of battery (well actually it doesn't but you never know with droids).
It should be considered as a general rule for droids that the first thing you try when it doesn't work is to recharge it. And you might have to recharge it multiple times to.
