SO what is the MAX power you can pull out of a R3 advanced bomber driod. I am asuming this is also the highest powered bomber droid. If not what is? Also what kind of dmg are we talking?

R3's can hold 6 detonation modules. I have the materials on Gorath to make approx. Detonation power: 54 R3's. (I just did a run of 20 for a close friend). It's roughly 175 points of damage per point on the detonation droid. So, that's about 9450 damage PvE.

With the 75% PvP damage reductionin place, that's approx. 2350 or so.

Not true. Most of the Knights on my Server are pushing 3.5k HAMs. They push there stats to all equal 1000each and then with 2400ish buffs they are out of range of a one shot incap from a bomber droid that is 2350ish. =(

There should never be a one shot, one kill in PvP. The Droid will shake the target up enough to even out the odds for a single BH, when confronting a Jedi. There should be some sort of risk involved during PvP, even for a Master Bounty Hunter taking on a Jedi.

Hehe I won't get into the heated arguement and I fully agree with you on it but with the Jedi 85% saber block that is attainable I only have one shot at getting them and then its dead MBH if I don't get them within those first 4 seconds as that is when the full heal hits and I am finished.

The droid is probably best used when the jedi is distracted. Many times, by a friend that you've brought along. Generaly if the Jedi is hurt at all, and the bomb comes in it's a finishing move rather than a starting blow.

Yeah the only problem with that is I prefer to hunt alone. Having group members with me only slows me down and they sometimes can get impatient if I decide to scout out XXX jedi hiding in his house or yada yada..

It's not 175 per point really, it's a damage range of about 150-200 per point. 200 x 60 = 12000 After the 75% PVP reduction, that is 3000.
3000 can Incap a Jedi in one hit if it hit's their Mind Pool and is a max damage hit. It has to be the mInd Pool. If the Jedi also is on Brandy and Muon, it probably won't do it either.
I don't think there should be an instant "I win" button in PVP either, but the way the numbers work, the chance for an instant incap is very very low, but it is there. Not enough to happen often, but enough to make the Droids worthwhile and keep the Jedi nervous.
Jedi are funky, you hear a ton of whines, some saying they are to strong, some saying they are to weak, you never know what to believe. The truth is both are correct. Jedi at first are weak, butthen later on as they pick up certain powers, they become much tougher. In the first case, a good Bomb Droid is just extra, not really an issue or needed, the Jedi will die anyways. In the case of the powerfull Jedi, a good Bomb Droid may be a BH's only chance of ever taking one down.

The part in yellow is what I meant. I've seen Jedi run away from me just by me pulling out a non-Det. MSE droid.

That's what I really like about the Droids. There is just enough of a chance for an instant incap to keep people coming back for more. Yet it doesn't happen often enough to make things unbalanced.
