I keep getting offers from people about setting up a vendor in their town or crafting center, some of them would be very nice locations. However, I already run 2 locations that keep me busy enough. I don't think I could keep a 3rd location stocked well enough to make me happy.
Plus other DE's need business as well. Instead of just turning the people down, I would far rather give them a name or two of people I know who make quality droids and will stock a vendor well.
Now I do have some names from in game that I talk with and answer questions for, however many of them are really just starting and can only make the general droids where quality doesn't matter much. I will be talking with them as well though to see if anybody is up to the task.
Now some people may feel that I should have posted this on my ownserver boards. You may be right, but here is why I didn't. If I am going to reccomend somebody, I am saying that they make good Droids and are a quality crafter. If I post on the Server boards, people will just jump at it as a way to make money, we have a lot of flavor of the month DE's now as part of JTL. In my opinion if you surf the boards, and you care about Droids, you at least look here. So I posted here, just to get the serious people.
I get these offers often, and would really like to reccomend some people. So if you are on Scylla and are able (willing) to stock a good vendor, let me know.

I am also a master DE, I have vendors in Sun Valley, STC (im in Ackbar 5, ive seen your vendor-good job) and on dantooine. Unfortunately my responsibilities at my dant. location have left me without any factories, so mass producing droids is completely out of the question, what I can do is make custom orders, I have modules and components made by caldius and JoeBeOne in the hundreds, letting me make droids without needing a factory, but to make it last I only do custom orders with the exception of BH droids-but dont expect a lot on stock. Unfortunately the average STC shopper does not have the patience to buy a custom order droid in my experience.

You and I see the majorityof the posters on the DE forum the same way. We got some quality people here.
I may be up for this in the future, but at this present time I'm trying to manage a mini-mall with several partners and keep a DE / Arch vendor stocked at the same time. Rather time consuming, that is. So at this time I cannot.
But keep my name handy. In the future Iwill likely be looking for a second location. It never hurts to get the name out.My DE's name is Snoosnoo On'Rye.

Ok guys, what I'm gonig to do is add you guys to my "droid" list. I already have a few friends, mostly new DE's that I help out when I can, answering questions and such. Even sending e-mails out when somethin good spawns. I'll add all of you to my list for that.
Amola, I'll check out your vendor and talk to you in game.
We all should get together and talk resources as well. What I have found from talking to DE friends, that what is considered "good" resources is very relative. If you have been collecting resources diligintly for a long long time, your standards go up. What I may be using as "grind" stuff may be very good toa new DE.
Scylla is pretty resource poor. We havn't have a good copper or steel spawn in a long time, so those old spawns fetch a serious price. Our best inert gas 977 was a while ago as well, and that's not even that great. So working together to buy some stuff then splitting it may be a good idea. As I'm in the middle of doing right now actually.
Talk to you all in game.
