Thread: Problems with Harvest Droid

I wonder if anyone else has noticed this problem with Harvest droids. My wife uses one that I made her, so I'm able to look over her shoulder and see that this is actually happening.. It's an R3 chassis that is split between harvesting and trapping.
Once in a while, the droid will start carrying out it's command to harvest, but will only go a few meters before stopping and returning. Moving closer to the kill does seem to improve the performance, but in the case I just watched, she had to move to within 20 meters of the kill. She just now tried from within 13 meters of the kill, with a full charge in the droid, and it wouldn't harvest!
This is not a new droid, and has been in use for several weeks, at least, but the vitality of the unit is still 100/100. Battery power in this instance was at 50%, but the wife says it does the same thing with a full charge.
Is this a "defective" unit"? I've never seen one that worked only some of the time. Either they work, or they don't.

Hello!
I had exactly the same problem and this caused me to get angry with my droid (Harvy)
Anyway I resolved completly the problem with a single "/follow me " comand. After that the droid comes to u, send it again to the target and it will keep on harversting like before. It should be a bug.

From my understanding of the harvestor droid, if you have the options set to, say for example, harvest meat off of the creature, and said creature does not have meat, the creature becomes completely unharvestable to anyone for anything.
