I just wanted to stop in and say good fight everyone. Sintrosi you've went above and beyond the call of duty, but we are simply wasting our time on SOE. I have had an active account since day one, but as of the 27th of this month I will no longer be a SWG subscriber.

I have redeeded all my harvesters, my factory, and my house. I have shut down my shop. I am done with SOE and I will never buy another product they make. I went through EQ back when hybrids had twice the experience as regular class's and now I'm done with being a Droid Engineer.

It is obvious to me now that the intention was to lure customers into playing SWGdangling the jedi carrot in there faces.While being a Jedi would be a novelty I was dead set on being a Droid Engineer. What a mistake. I am not aware of a more broken class then the DE profession. I was two skill bubbles from Master DE and I was having enough trouble selling droids.

I should have been a Creature Handler with the developers constantly coddling them they are guarenteed to always be a viable class. On the other hand our developer Q-3PO is not only not reading our boards, but is more then likely playing a CH now.

So who all is done with SWG? Please post here if you cancelled your account or intend to in the future. The only way to make SOE pay attention to DE's is to hit them in the wallet. The closing of Sintrosi's thread was the final blow for me. No where in that thread was the anything even remotely vulgar and it is simply a sign of things to come when SOE blatantly close's threads it does not approve of.

I am will canceling my account at the end of september (since that is when I am payed up till), but to tell you the truth I wish I was doing month by month subscriptions.

I'm just as frustrated with the classes as everyone else, but you have to remember, these are still the beginning stages. The game has been out for like, a **edit** 2 months or something.

Granted, that's one thing I dislike about PC games, is because they can rush release something full of bugs because they can just patch it later, and I do think that's pretty lame. You should take pride in your product and get it right the first time. But a game like this takes a LOT of work and maintenance on their end, and they cannot do everything right away.

Trust me, I am just as p.o.'d about how messed up our class is as anyone else, and I'm not trying to make excuses. You just gotta look at the long run.

Obviously it is your money, your decision on what to do with it, but as for myself, I am going to be patient. I know that after all is said and done, they are going to get everything fixed properly and Droid Engineers will be a very good class. We might be last one the list, but I know that it's going to get there.
