yea its BS .. they try to make the game much as possible like the movie.. as i recall luke leai were born with the force.. they didnt get a new char LOL.. oh yea BTW dev's stated that anyone that wants to be a jedi might take them 3 years to find the right path... GOOOOOOOOD luck

I am not new to the game or to the boards but i thought i might make my second post in this forum because it really upsets me when I read most of the posts.

I do not think its fair to the people who run around all day and night doing quests and exploring dark corners of planets to be flamed to death when they come on here and post their ideas. That one part of the quest they did might be a missing piece to one someone else did etc...etc....

I salute all of you people who are working your asses off to solve this puzzle....I too have been investigating possibilities but have hit dead ends but there is no stopping us.

The people who need to be flamed are the people who are negative to our cause....Granted there are people who are helping but not helping by starting threads like FS SLOT!!! PATH ALMOST REVEALED and crap like that. AllI can ask is that if you have something that might lead to something else title your post " Possible Puzzle Piece" then other people can look at it and see if it fist the puzzle they are putting together.

And to all the people who think they can trick people by posting they are now FS.......FU

Nothing would do that without the 24/7 heavy hand of moderation, which, alas, we do not have here.

I would like to keep this bumped so that others may get to read this.

I'm sitting here waiting for radiant to finnish loading so I can get back into the game. I have been thinking about the droid engineer profession for awhile and I always assumed that the corrections we need done would come soon. I have been really frustrated with the communication we have received or lack there of from our dev. I have read some of the other posts from other professions such as the CH and wonder. We arent getting any answers to the problems we are having. I have a few things that have been said before a few hundred times but I am mainly saying them again for myself. I want to know that I to have tried to make things better.

1. Probots... When I reached the level where i was able to make probots I remember running into 5 red pirates and how quickly my probot took them all out. I knew at that moment it was only a matter of time before they were hit with the nerf bat. When they were hit I knew it was gonna be too much. I think a reasonable reduction would have brought ham down to around 1500, dmg around 80-120, and maybe increase speed to 2.5-3.5. My man concern was at that time the probot was the only decent droid we had, considering all the modules were broke for all the other droids with the exception of the medical modules.

2. The repair droid at the moment is still cannot be used as a repair droid. There is no radial for repairing other droid.

3. The surgical droid is no better than a mouse atm. I would assume as in Star Wars that the surgical droid would be able to help heal. Maybe have them so they can heal mind wounds. Why should someone spend 20x the money for a surgical droid when the mouse can do the same thing.

4. The Binary LL... Why not make them necessary for lifting factory crates. They have no purpose what so ever atm.

5. Power Droids..... Another neat droid that has no real function. Power other droid? is that worth the money to buy one? Why not make them so that they are neededto retreive energy off power stations and Power up extractors or factories?

6. Perma Death? ok im not sure what Einstein came up with this one. Perma death is fine if ur mouse gets killed. But how can we expect people to spend upwards of 20k on droids thatcan die. I think people should be able to insure them for a fee like we do on items. I had a guybuy an advanced probot from me for 20k and he sent me a tell approx 2-5 min later and he caught aggro on the way back from my house and his droid was killed and he lost it. I think that there should be a decay rate on them but not a perma death.How is it that a creature handlers live pets can not be killed yet a droid made of metal can?

7. We should be able to have more than 1 droid out at a time, jus like CH. Why would anyone have a repair droid other than a DE? Make it so that only 1 combat droid can be out at a time.

8. We need a dev that is going to discuss the issueswith us. We have had little to no answers to all the questions we have had. For example, What does the customization mean? What happen when it reaches 0? Does the color jus go away or do we lose the droid when this works? I havent heard any mention of what this means. I have heard other DE talking about it but not a dev.

I really enjoyed being a Droid Engineer when the game first came out. Even tho there was a ton of bugs. I'm glad I made some money before the nerf went in and Im not hurting for money. Currently I am putting some droids on my vendor and trying to power lvl to finnish up and become a master. After that i plan on working on teras kasi and jus wait till the DE line is fixed. I know I repeated a bunch of things that were already said and maybe a few new things.I dont want to dropDE because I really think it is a fun profession but atm its really not worth the trouble. I'm not saying that I can't sell droidsI jus feel like the professionisgetting worse with no fixesin sight.
