Thread: Want a pet to fight by your side?
Then forget about the probot.Armor is working now and its pretty **edit** good, but you know what? They die. They do pathetic damage (40-50 i believe). They cant really tank very well. Even at 8k (good price for a probot) its still a huge risk.
The Better Solution:
Forget about the Probot. Buy a Creature from a Creature Handler or Bio Engineer. As long as its Challenge Level 15 or less (CL15), any non-CH player can control it.
1- There is a wide variety of good creatures you can use (most stronger than a probot)
2- Many CL15 or less critters, have good HAM #s around 1000-2000+
3- Some critters even have Armor
4- Most of them do more damage
5- They dont "die." Instead they get incapped and return to your datapad with a bit less HAM.
The only bad things is that you have to feed them and some take a bit to heal, but in return, you have a good solid (while not overpowered) pet fighting side by side with you.
Your a fool go away 
If we want a creature we would be Creature Handlers, I dont see many creatures that have crafting stations, medical modules, item storage...
i think the most stupid thing anyone can do is to attack us DEs at our home ground. It gives us a channel to vent our frustration and anger!

Im more than happy to act as a sounding board for you guys to vent your frustration.
With that said, you know Im right 
About the only droid thats useful is a droid with a medical module. Hell, even the surgical droid doesnt work.
Now that non-CH can have low level creatures, probots, even with working armor, are underpowered when compared to a low level critter you can use.
So if you want a probot to fight besides you, dont get one! Get a creature instead!
Make sure its full grown or youll have to wait a week or two before you can use it 
And now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to sticking these needles on a set of Dev Team Voodoo Dolls I have. I wonder if I should grab the biggest needle andpoke the crotch area on the dolls next

Well the post wasnt directed at DEs themselves, but rather people that use their droids More specifically, those that use Probots to fight alongside them.
You know. Regular non DE people.
Im sure theyll slowly fix many DE issues as we slowly move away from beta testing. Yes thats right. Beta Testing. You didnt think that because you were paying to play, the game was out of beta did you? Even after beta is over, critters will still be better than probots unless they make some changes.
