I know you guys have much bigger fish to fry and things to worry about. My heart totally goes out to the DE. But I do have a question:

Have they given you the skill to alter the color of droids yet? I want to buy a droid but I want it a certain color so i'm holding out until you guys can. I asked our local Droid mastah (props to Chubbs) a few weeks back but there have been plenty of updates including the last big Publish and I was wondering if they put that in for ya yet?

Except I am almost a Droid Engineer and was wondering what my colorization options will be. I have read some posts that say that you can not color droids and others that refer to being able to color droids, but the droids lose that color over time.

What is the real deal on Droid Colorization?

This ability was on the Test Center server, but it didn't work well so they took it out before the big publish. So, no...unfortunately the droid colors cannot be changed yet. It looks like they are trying to remedy this situation though...they just haven't done it quite yet.

We can apply changes to the ADV Droid Chassis, that can be used for house decoration. But once they are used in the construction of the actual ADV droid, it comes out like a default one.

Can anyone tell me when the color option for advanced droid frames came about?

i had an R2 advanced frame in my shop and the other day noticed the R2 and R4 frame changed from the solid plain color to having all blue accents like R2D2..

i think im going to have to pick them up because im answereing way to many questions regarding coloring because people want blue R2s

your help would be appreciated

It came about with the August 10th patch. Actually since they gave us this ability I have sold over 50 chassis' to people solely for house decorations. I also have a house lined with 35 R2 units of all different colors just because people enjoy looking at all the pretty droids.

Ok, I need a little clarification...

From what I read, I gather that the blue color on R2s (as in R2D2) is not the default color of the R2 units. If so, then what is the default color?

To complete my understanding - so if I buy an R2 unit thats blue or green or red, his color will fade over time?? This sounds quite rediculous.Why would it do this?I certainly hope that this is not the case.

How do you bring out more than one droid at a time?
