Thread: A riot i almost started
I think that pets SHOULD be stored on droids with data modules, it would actually give a purpose to installing a data mod on a droid, and could actually bring in some good business for us.
But I'd still never charge 15k for that.

But it's never gonna happen.
CH's have limits on the number of stored pets based on skill points.
The data in droid ignores this and allows unlimited storage.
It just ain't gonna happen - it will be fixed ASAP, trust me.

Fix? Yeah right. And we'll get battle droids to. Better yet, we may even get back 150 dmg on probots. lmao
Oh wait, thats right, they are really god at nerfing, not improving. Never mind, be carefull in the future.

At the end of the CH section:
Fixed a bug that allow pets to be stored in droid data-modules - applies to all pet types
So no more storing pets in a droid's data storage.
Price is determined by utility as well.
If there were a weapon that cost only 100 metal to make, did 200-300 damage at AR2 and had a speed of 1.9, people would pay hugely for it, even though it only cost 100 metal.
Likewise, people will pay hugely for a device that lets them circumvent the limit on pets.
People will always pay a lot to have the latest exploit.

Acctually there is a limit to the number of pets stored in a data mod
For a level 2 data mod its 40 i think. Thats because Pets take up 1 point of space in a data mod. Now lets say tou increased the size of a pet to 20 or even 40 i still think thats fair and i still think there would be a demand for them

Actually, you may be on to something there.
Lets charge 15k for an MSE. When the customer complains explain that -
Its not me that is overcharging, its SOE that didn't give the droids enough value.
I was spamming some of the droids i had in my invintory to sell near the cornet starport. A wookie creature handler comes up to me and asks if i cna build MSE's
Nostradamus: Sure i can make MSE's
Wookie: Can i have 3
Nostradamus: sure do you want them to do anything?
Wookie: Just throw some datapads in them i don't need them to do anyhting special
Nostradamus: Whoah there.... I'd have to charge you 15k for that.
Wookie: 15k for an MSE droid your nuts
This of corse was in spaital chat so a few people came over and supported the wookie
Guy#1:
..... **edit** edit button...
Guy #1 You gotta to be crazy charging 15k for an mse droid
Guy #2 I got my mse for free
Wookie: What the heck man how can you charge me 15k for an mse droid
Nostradamus: Its a small price to pay for pet storage
Guy #1 your nuts
Nostradamus: People pay 15k for my droids with the features this guy wants
So the wookie left in angar and i hopped on the next plane to Dantooine to meet some of my guild mates
20 min later the wookie /t's me and askes if he can have 3 for 30k and a ch pet for some reason so i agreed
I thoght it was an interesting
Most excitment i ever caused as a DE

FYI that pet storage is a bug and is being removed. YOu'd better let your customers know.
Most people are well aware that they are taking advantage of this bug.... thats why i can charge 15k for a droid with a data mod.... I didn't give him mse's in the end.... i think i gave him an r4 and an r5 what ever i had on hand
How are data mods getting fixed? are they going to shut them down again or increase the datasize of a pet to 10 or something?
