hi im on test center so probably not many of you see me but i was just wondering that since im a smuggler and am working on slicing right away, i have to build a lot of slicing tools. i decided that since it is going to be a lot of slicing tools and i shouldnt let all that general crafting xp go to waste, i should become either a de or ws. so i was wondering if someone could tell me which thanks

What do you love?

Do you love droids or do you love money? If you love weapons, the answer becomes obvious.

Weaponsmith is a somewhat simpler path, with great financial rewards. DE is a difficult, tedious path which we HOPE will eventually become really useful and possibly even lucrative.

well i just want to help people by giving away stuff for free if i became a weaponsmith i wouldnt go around taking orders from everyone i would just have one of every weapon in my inventory and just when somebody needs a gun i would give it to them

hehe DE's perfect for you then. Most the time we can hardly give them away ...so long as you weren't planning on making any money or being back logged for droid orders you should do just fine

You know, I'm not so sure I agree with this anymore. I am an expert weaponsmith, and have been for about 2 weeks. I'm also an expert droid engineer. I have two vendors, and advertise both products on the global map. I can make my blasters almost as good as a master weaponsmith, but I can't sell my guns, (even at cut-throat prices),whereas I sell about 2 droidsa day, fairly consistently. There are just so many weaponsmiths these days, that the global map lists about 10 of them each day, whereas I'm only 1 of 3 DEs on my planet, Corellia.
