Thread: Factories and Components? Please help!
I've had a factory for a few days, and I was woundering how to use it to make more compolicated things that involve crafted components. For a example, Micro Sensor Sweats or whatever they're called, requiere a control unit and some resorces. Can I simply put a control unit crate in the Input Hopper? or do i need to take everything out of the crates. Also, do i have to use a component from the crate when i make a schematic?
Thank you for your help.
Only tailors can make droid sweats. They're pretty cool, they've got like ten pockets that can each hold ten items. All the Droid Engineers are wearing them these days. I just ordered a case from a neighborhood tailor for all my vendors.
Read the FAQ. You'll learn a lot about factories and pretty much everything else in the droid profession.
You can use crates. I have never needed to take the elements out of the crates.Pay attention to the serial numbers.
Your schematics must use subcomponents with serial numbers that match whatever subcomponents you put in the factories input hopper.
Yes, you can now put factory crates in a factory with relative ease. However, you MUST use parts from the component crates when you make your schematic.
Good luck with your factory! I have 2 of them and LOVE them.. took my droid fabrication time from 20 minutes down to 5!
