Ok, So you have the power to build a POWER DROID. What will it do for you other than store stuff and data etc..?

They cost a TON of resourses to build, Power core alone "omg!" So basicly you should be able to live in a POWER DROID right? .... instead of building a house you build a POWER DROID. heh... a house that moves. LOL!!!

But, seriously, Why build one? What do they do? Whats thier meaning of LIFE?

please help, because after my first attempt at building one failed at the end , I am trying to figure out why I should waste any more TONS of resourses to build another.

You use them to recharge other droids. This has the effect of healing the mind damage of the other droid you're recharging.

I use an R3 with (among others) a repair module to heal the health/action pools of other peoples' droids. I then put it away and call my power droid out to heal the mind. It's a lot nicer than having to hand them a droid battery and telling them to recharge their droid.

My personal favorite droid is the power droid. I think it is the funniest droid there is, the way it walks around on its stubby legs and looks like a garbage can. I stuck a weapon crafting station in it and take it around with me everywhere.

One guy followed me around for a few minutes asking me about my "Gonk" droid. I liked that name.

I haven't yet had to recharge my power droid, and I've actually made more money this last week off of repairing / recharging other peoples droids then actually SELLING droids. People have tipped me 25 - 50 credits for recharging their droids.

The funny thing is, in the Star Wars universe, the Power droid is supposedly the most common droid roaming around...

In our world only the few, the proud, the elite, the rich have them...

A few people in my hunting party have EG-6 droids. Reason? Why carry batteries around and Probots need recharging often. Ditto on the reasons for repair droids (modules).
