Hiya,
I'm a pretty new Master DE on Sunrunner and I've been doing some playing with various droids (Making quite a bit of junk I might add but hey its a learning experience
). Recently I have been tinkering with 'combat' droids.
I've been lurking through the forums and saw a recommendation of making a droid in the following configuration:
Adv Repair Droid with:
One combat Module
2 Auto Repair Modules
1 Level 6 Armor.
One combat Module
2 Auto Repair Modules
1 Level 6 Armor.
The stats I got out of it were:
HAM 5610
Combat Rating - 97
Auto Repair - 28
HAM 5610
Combat Rating - 97
Auto Repair - 28
Looking through the sticky posts in this forum I found the formula to translate the Combat Rating into real numbers, so if I figure correctly this droid should have 52 min/ 63 Max
I also made:
Adv R3 Droid:
I can't recall for sure but I beleive i used all combat modules and one repair modules, anyway the stats came out at :
Adv R3 Droid:
I can't recall for sure but I beleive i used all combat modules and one repair modules, anyway the stats came out at :
HAM 4207
Combat Rating 462
Auto Repair 13
Combat Rating 462
Auto Repair 13
So again if my figures are correct it should have a 141 Min / 150 Max
I really haven't had much time to play with some of the other models of droids with the combat mods as I am also a Master Tailor, I spend a lot of time making clothes for people, so I try to squirt out droids during slow times.
I wanted to get opinions of others to see if these droids are worth selling or should I just use them as 'statues' in my house?
Thanks much!

They worth selling.
LE is a good tank, and R3 is a good damage/resistance combo.
Other good combat droid are probot-DZ70 low HAM, high dmg.
Also, customer usually don't pay attention to this, but speed is important.
Combat speed, probot and DZ70 shot twice faster than R3
and movement speed, with a probot, you don't have to stop the swoop too often to let him follow you, with an LE, forget about it, even when you walk he has trouble following you.

Well, my best selling probots are the maxxed damage ones and the 4 combat / 1 10 Item Storage Probots.
I started selling the5 auto-healing probots, but they didn't exactly fly off the shelves.
A lot of people want that 10 extra storage in every droid in their datapad, so I try and put that in most of my droids.

I sell combat versions of the LE-Repair listed as "Rock'm Sock'm Robot" with maxed HAM + 1 combat (rating 71) +2 Auto-repair (rated 34), & armor level 6. I also have a probot listed as "Spinnin Top of Doom" with maxed HAM + 5 combat (rated at 510) & armor..
