AFAIK, as long as you remove the structure from the list before undeed, it does work fine.
At least with that warning I had no complain so far.

i know it works fine, but the risk of accidentally breaking it sometime in the future is fairly high. I will put it in an R3 for customers who want it, but I discourage that configuration when my customers do ask.

First of all, i browsed 4 pages and all the sticky threads but i'm still asking here..
What should i ask a MDE for when getting a droid for a master doctor? I've just recently (few days) returned the the game after a 5 month break so i'm not sure what to ask for (With the droids rebuilt patch and all)..
Is 110 medical rating still the max?
What about that stimpack function i read loosely about? Can that be used in the same droid? Anything else i should be thinking about (don't think i'll be wanting a food/chem crafting station, if i craft i usually don't do it "on the fly")

I find the following to be very popular:
R2 Adv. unit, with...
- Food/Chem crafting station module
- 110 Medical rating Med. module (yes, it's still the max.)
- Item storage (for 10 items
- 2 Stimpack Dispensor modules
If you get this as an R3 Adv., you could have 3 installed Stimpack Disp. modules.

Yup. That is what my doctor and medic customers prefer. If you are on Kauri, go to Naboo or Corellia and look for "Droids by Malitevv" in the list of droid vendors. I have about 20 droids with that exact configuration sitting on each of my vendors.

For Adv R3, better add a level 3 maintenance module with a big warning and a user manual in the description.

the maintenance module is so buggy that putting it in an expensive droid like an R3 is a really bad idea, IMO.

And even if the structure maintenance module worked fine, I wouldn't include it with a medical droid, because I don't think it's a good idea to take away the use of a droid from a doctor for 30 minutes. I put structure modules by themselves into separate droids made just for that purpose.

my master crafter droids
Data pad, I couldnt get along with out it, not sure how other crafters can
storage, I keep my crafting clothing or armor in here.. surveying can be nasty work. Dont go with out your armor : )
Crafting module,Droid has to beable to make something to be more than just a mobile bucket of bolts
this leave's 2 slots
I usually put in 1 or 2 of the following.
Surgical, Docs love um
Maintance, send that puppy to go take care of your dying harvester
Merchant,When your off haning out with your buds, let your droid do the advertising for ya
Repair, let the droid fix stuff, who wants a broken droid.
This will work for all profs, not just docs,,, but docs i usually recomned surgical, merchant for the extra 2 moduls, I put them in R2's i dont like to use R3's cept for combat and harvesters
