Thread: R3 Combats a silent nerf to max 600 CR

Did this happen?? i could swear i have R3's i made that had a CR of like 623 or 630 somthingor there abouts and over 170 max damage?? is my brain fried from making 100's of droids or was this a silent nerf?? I have none of these left on my vendor to check, my last R3 combat i had sold last week. I just was messing around tonight and made a few droids for a loyal mouse bomb customer.. He loves the things and even uses them in pvp.. and faction missions.. said one mouse killed 4 npc imps in one shot ! !
anyone know the max rating on a 6 detonation module R3? i here they are great at-st, and turret killers.

Combat modules have always been capped at 600 in R3's. So you can get away with using 100 rated modules in them instead of 109.
The max detonation rating is 10 per module. The R3 gets no bonus to these modules like the MSE does, so the R3 has a max of 60. Last I heard the max damage was about 150 times the rating, so the normal max detonation damage of a R3 is about 9000.

Personally I've never seen an R3 over 600 combat rating myself, so I think you've just made too many droids :-) I'm pretty sure that 600 has always been a hard cap.
As for the det R3, I think they'd max out at 60 (det modules max out at 10 I believe?) I think I've got a few on my vendor that have a 56 rating or something like that. The only droid that gets a bonus to det is the mouse.
