Thread: How Much to charge for Droid Repair Kit D's ???

Hello,
I have made a batch of Droid Reapir Kit D's, THey have 25 Charges and 1620 Reair Engery. (Not the best, I know, but with resources available, not bad either)
I was having a very hard time finding these on my server (Kauri) The ones I did find had only 1300ish energy, So I started my own DE with my second account.
Now I am hooked. I really like the profession. I am a Master now and play my DE almost as much as my BH and MTKA Toons.
How much should I charge for these on my vendor?????

Since you such a hard time finding them on your server, I'd suggest you make yer own prices 
i usually use resources used * 2 to get my manufacturing cost ... (just a rough number) and then go from there. Of course, if you do have a busy vendor already, charge what you want, if they don't sell, lower the prices heheh

I charge 6k for mine, they are 35 charges, 1600+ power. But I have raised the prices a little bit because they were flying off the vendor. Start out with what you think is about right (I initially compared them to player stims), then adjust it according to demand.

Thanks for the input.
I think that I will start them out at 6K on my vendor and lower or raise it based on demand.
I am not intrested in under charging and having to run factories 7 days a week to keep up, I just want to provide my customers with all the DE items that they need when they shop my store.

That's easy... (Charges / 10) * Repair Energy
So for 25 charges with 1620 Repair Energy... 4050, so 4000 credits.

Because D's are supposed to be better then C's, B's and A's ... so people aren't interrested in buying anything less.

Normally I'd totally agree with this line of thinking (that's why I only sell the highest combat rating droids), but in the case of repair kits I have found my customers very happy with C's. I'd have to charge double or more to sell D's, and the quality of resources available on my server allows D's that are only slightly better than C's in terms of damage, and simply have more uses. I also had to raise my prices just because they were selling too well. It's about time for me to make another load (I go through one batch of 1K kits about every 2-3 weeks) and I'm looking into making D's, but unless I can make them spectacularly better than C's, my customers seem happy with what I have now, so I'll continue with them.

With advanced capacitor and advanced diagnostic circuits, I made a 30 charge, 1802 energy D. I'll probably sell these for 5k since my 31 charge, 1569 power Ds (without the advanced capacitor) sold for 3500. I wish I had more of the titanium I used for the old Ds; I could probably get at least 1850 and possibly another charge at least with it...

I was selling 29 uses power 1624 for 4k and they go slolwy of the shelf. But at a nice easy pace to know that another run (which i just finished) will last a month or 2. Have put the price upto 5k on the new set as recent spawns now allow me to make 41 uses 1839 power 1's.
But your right on pricing, its server specific.

You're breaking 1800? *pout*
I have enough trouble in the mid 1700's. But it does leave me the extra exp points to get over 40 charges

I go for max power because additional charges don't do any good if the droid wasn't healed enough to last whatever amount of seconds it takes before you can use another. If I'd had more of the titanium I made my 1569 Ds with, I could probably get over 1850.
