Asa new DE I have had requests for combat/tank droids (all models), but from my experience it seems that Probots and DZ70s are the only ones who will, by nature, stick around to fight. R units, LEs, etc. will run away the moment there is danger about. This makes my most requested droid (an R unit tank model with max auto repair and armor modules) useless.

Do I need to install one combat module in these droids to keep them from running off? If so - how do I keep the damage done to a minimum so the droid isn't soaking up XP the player wants?

Make the combat module out of utter crap resource, and dont experiment.
