Hi everyone,
Got a question about the Droidmaster toolkit bandolier. I have seen some with slots that accept clothing attachment tapes. Will an additional skill tape with say a +10 Droid Experimentation add to the modifier already in the bandolier (for a total of +15)? Or will it (as an item) onlygive the highest value overall (the +10 for the skill tape only)?

The latter.

But if you put the CA in another piece of clothing you can get the +15.
IE You put 2 of the same modifiers in your shirt, lets say, only the higher number will "stick" same applies with the Toolbelt

No no no no. Dont do this, for the love of god.
I had a bad experiance just last week, i tried to put a +6 attachment on the chefs apron instead of the +11 bonus it turned out to be meerly +6, turns out that adding an attachment to a piece of clothing with an inate modifier actualy cancels out and replaces the inititial bonus. You wont get a cumulative bonus, simply the modifier present on the attachment.
Upon complaining, the GM told me that the same happens on articals of clothing, he told me attachments dont stack, and that the only sure way to benifit is to have a different piece of clothing for each attachment, and not to add anything to the apron\bandoliers.

Thanks for the heads up! Hopefully your experience will save many others from doing the same thing!

Yea, it was dumb of me not to check with the boards before playing with the attachments. Being a carrer DE i really have no need for attachments especially since i found a nice +11 belt, so i had very little experiance with them. Atleast the attachment was given to me so i lost nothing monetaraly, altough im still kinda pissed at the loss.
Im assuming this is a bug and not an intended feature, theres no reason nor warning concerning attachment use, and im sure its happened to alot of people. Somthing i hope they fix. All in all attachments are i think the most bugged and retarded thing in the game. I hope they either get fixed or trashed some time soon.

no no no!I think this is an intended feature, otherwise no body would be able to override mods. IE if there are 2 mods on one tape a +5 on X and a +9 on Y, the highest mod always sticks and the other one goes useless, if this was the can one will only needs to add a new tape of +4 or lower on Y to make the +5 on X useful
Hope this helps a little on the understanding of SEA.
