Thread: A thought on the CU & Expansion.

From what we've seen in the CU and the expansion, our hopes of the DE profession providingnecessary components for cybernetics doesn't look to be a reality.
However, since one of the main goals of the CU is to level out the professions, making them a bit more equal than they currently are, it seems to me that combatants will need to rely more heaviliy on "help". My prediction is that pets and attack droids will again be hot market items. I'm stocking up!

I've also been thinking along these lines. I just started leveling a new toon last week w/o buffs of course and I don't think I could do it as easily without the help of the droid I'm using. This isn't well known among the SWG community. Droids are useful as tanks. The CU is going to make it more obvious I think.

I wonder if they are gonna get rid of the PvP damage modifier so pets don't take 'normal' damage and give PvP damage. If they do, Droid Engineers, Bio-engineers, and Creature Handlers are going to be very happy...

PvP modifiers are already gone, i think.
I only watched a newbie fight in TC5, might be wrong...
