Thread: BH Droids: Question for Tarq DE's

The other day I was running around Coronet after checking my harvesters. Then a guy came up to ask if i stocked Probes and Seekers. I told him i just made a vendor for them the other day.
After a bit of confusion since i recently moved my shop to a bigger building and not having a updated wp to give him. I picked up a crate each for him and reduced the price to 5k for his trobles. he was about to give me 40k for the 2 crates and i corrected him that it was 5k per crate.
My question is what is you guys going rate for BH droids?
Am I selling myself short by selling them for 8k a crate of 5?

Not really. Tarq's economy is less inflated than many other servers so in general prices all around are cheaper. I sell my seekers for 5k per crate and my arakyd's for 7500 (though my prices generally tend to be pretty low and you could probably get close to twice as much for them if you really wanted).

Looks a lot like our economy on Kettemoor. It seems to me that the BHs just look for droids in stock. I just raised my prices to be 10k for a crate of probes, as I could not keep them in stock at 8k a crate, but they still sold just as much as before. Although some one did come along and buy me out, this weekend, kinda made me feel good.
I also know Choda sells his for like 15k a crate and has no complaints about slow business.
So I will say to you, just keep them in stock and BHs will be happy

I've always priced my BH droids based on the prices from the NPC droid vendor days. 200cr/seeker charge and 1k/arakyd charge. So that would be 2k per seeker (10k per crate of 5) and 5k per probe (or 25k per crate of 5).

WOW there was a time that droids came from npc's. /shutter Yousaying that there was a time that nobody was able to makedroids? 
I sure hope the trend of the game as it going now that feature never gets put back in.

It was specifically the BH droids. I don't kow why they were in the game in the first place... but they were. BH's could buy seekers for 200c and arakyd's for 1k. These seekers and arakyd's had 1 charge each, and so did the ones we made. Needless to say when they shut down the vendor but didn't increase the number of charges on the droids BH's were in an uproar (since DE's were charging more than the vendors had and they weren't getting any more charges). Eventually it worked out with the increased number of uses.

I started selling my crates for 7k. Iwas unable tokeep up with demand. I started raising prices. I'm now up to 35k a crate and they still fly off my vendors. I'm not raising anymore but man sometimes its hard to keep up with the sales.

On Valcyn I sell them for 10K per crate. I sell approximately 125-150 crates of Arakyds per month and about25-30 crates of Seekers per month.
I'd have exact numbers but unfortunately my Hard drive mysteriously got formatted and I didn't have my Merchant's Friend data backed up ....
