Not much to say about it that we dont already know...positives i saw in regards to DE or craftsman....hmmm well cant really think of any at the moment...oh AS/WS/Smuggler are getting new wpns/armor/craftables but not really sure how its going to pan out. AS seems to be gettign a big overhaul....lets see what else here is the only direct quote in regards to crafters:
<Brannoc> *RRR187* How will crafters place harvesters on planets now, since creatures kill low level characters so quickly?
<Helios_SOE> If you wish to gather resources in dangerous areas, you should either get a PSG or you could also hire some other players to protect you in the wilds.
Beyond that i like to keep a positive outlook, but its not a big suprise to not see allot of craft content come into this patch, espcially given its combat oriented nature. Its far to late now for extreme lobbying of new combat oreinted droid changes for this patch, however we can always do the gripe thing for the next one. I think either we are going to see the next pub be more DE/crafter/merch-centric or we are going to see allot of us quit.
Does this guy have a clue at all? Is he new or something? A PSG doesn't even last one fight without an anti-decay kit. Without one, its trash not worth buying. Also, someone who has been around long enough to either be awarded or buy a ADK is hardly what you can call a low level crafter.
How does he expect low level crafters to hire combat players who can grind missions for cash to the tune of 100K to 400K per hour? Especially crafters who are NOT weapon or armor smiths?
I think he just fired his answer from the hip without putting any real thought into it.

It was amusing to see that answer right after the same dev indicated that they are committed to making the interface accessible to the color blind. They have no clue what they're doing.

Not sure where you're getting the feeling that noncombat stuff will be on their plate anytime soon. The CU and GVS are harbingers of SOE's plans for crafters.
Any Dev attention we got a year ago has been completely eradicated by recent events. Our only viable product from Publish 8 left is the detonation module.
