Another so-called "Master"....
You did yourself a disservice by grinding your way to master, if you intend to keep this profession. There are many quirks to DE, that can only be learned by building droids. My suggestion would be to go box by box, as if you were just learning the profession, and play around with the different modules/droids you get at each box.
hehe, best advice read the shematics and actually learn the profession and i dont mean the exp ![]()

I been master for two months now and have fill over 120 orders, I did grind DE in 3 days to get master. What I did is read, read and read. Ask a lot of questions. Duncje there are so few of use that I don't see a point in give the new guys a hard time.
It took me three months to master this profession, and there are still little quirks that I haven't figured out yet. The best way to learn DE is by doing (actually crafting and playing around with droids). If someone gets to Master DE and doesn't know themost basic facts of building droids, that is a disgrace.

Im currently 3/2/0/4 in DE- I did most of the xp without grinding, and I think it's made it much easier to build what I want knowing what each droid does and all. Get some materials and just play around with the different models, get a feel for them before trying to build a bunch of stuff.

Guys is it that bad if someone grinds and Keeps it, I didit that way, becausethe city I was inneed a DE, I did read all the post I could on anything that had to do with DEs and Droids and read all the FAQs. As I was starting out I keep reading that a DE can't make any money till master so I went as fast as I could to get up and running. Now I have a shop with a showroom and all I really do is orders for people. I am have a blasts doing it. My question is when am I a "Master" if I did not take the long path to becoming a MDE?
Grinding DE in and of itself is not a bad thing. Grinding DE and being completely ignorant in the ways of building droids isa bad thing. DE's can make money before master, a lot of us have done it this way. Since experimentation doesn't mean much, you can build BH droids or stack lower level modules.
As for having the title "Master", it has nothing to do with how long it took you to get there or how long you've had it. But if you haven't the slightest clue how to build droids with the "Master Droid Engineer" title, that's where I use my "so-called" phrase...
If you grinded (ground?)the profession and figured out how to build droids on your own, more power to you. But coming to these forums with the most basic DE questions, like "What modules can I put in an R2?" just shows complete disregard to actually learning how to be a DE.
