Well I'm thinking of becoming a Brawler and droid engineer. Now I'm completely new to this game and it has been overwhelming just sifting through all the help and stuff but I'm wondering if anyone can give me some pointers on how to play Droid Engineer and Brawler. I'd like to have some combat skills to go around killing stuff but I also want to make some little droids zoom around and have fun with. I'm wondering if anyone's gots some tips or a place that's easy to understand for a newbie? (thats free of course) Anywaysif this has been answered many times I'm sorry but I just want to geta grasp on the basics and what I should keep in mindif I'm becoming a droid engineer. Thanks guys.

there are a couple great places for info. Some of the posts stickied here (the ones stuck at the top of the board) have great info. Also http://swg.allakhazam.com/ has a lot of really good beginners guides.

please do survey and consume the stickied threads above, they are probably the best you will find in any forum on these boards.
Having done that, if you have further questions, we are happy to help. Lots of humans here, even though lately we have been fighting

We don't fight. We participate in "aggressive negotiation".

I would recommend Pistoleer, Carbineer, or Rifleman over Brawler. What you'll probably find works best is to have a Probot tank for you while you kill your targets from range. Brawlers can't use that technique so that would make your life a lot more difficult.

Aye Tk, agressive negotiation it surely is heh
Much like red hot pokers sometimes, but its all good in the end, Not many children here, so thats one huge benefit. Whatever happens to DE I hope we never see the Lee7 DoodZ come in here.

While I know there are alot of em, you should seriously contemplate going TKA. Its rough for a new player to get to Tera kasi novice, but once you learn the ways of the game TKA will be so much fun for you. I was contemplating going driod engineer when the game launched but I got distracted to much. Right now you think you know what you want to go, but you will change your mind quite a few times before you actually master anything.
